"DIVE INTO LIFE!"-our first official mission-dive trips to Honduras and to Haiti in Spring of 2009. In Honduras, we will conduct well drilling with Wellspring of Life for 3 days and then spend 3 days on Roatan for Scuba Diving and fellowship. In Haiti we will spend the week working with local fishermen and coastal people groups to what see ways we can further help them. This will include diving throughout the week to conduct reef and fish studies. If you would be interested in either of these opportunities, please contact us ASAP.
SNORKELING GEAR DONATIONS Big Fish Dive Team is asking for donations of used, but working snorkel gear (mask, fins, snorkels only) that we can take and distribute to people in 3rd World Countries such as Haiti and Honduras. If you would like to join us or donate some used, but functioning gear please contact us asap! In Haiti we hope by allowing them to take in the beauty of the underwater world in their back yard, it opens the doors for future conservation efforts.
Big Fish Missions is seeking people in marine conservation fields or conservation organizations to help us implement marine conservation programs with fishermen in Haiti. This opportunity would go hand-in-hand with our Dive Team ministry. By providing education and training for fishermen in areas where reefs and fish stocks are in danger, we can save lives literally. This would also give the opportunity for doors to be opened for sharing the Gospel of Jesus and that is our first and foremost goal. Please contact us if you can help!
